Tools for communication via the network or for remote maintenance are becoming the standard in many companies. With a maintenance-intensive device such as the continuous inkjet, a technician has to take a look at the machine from time to time. In the worst case, the contact person is many kilometers away and an appointment can take a long time. The InkNet is a PC software which the responsible distributor installs. For this purpose, every series machine is already equipped with the option of connecting to a corresponding server if the customer activates this. A technician can then switch to the machine within a few minutes and check the machine, maintain it remotely, install updates or copy log files for checking.
